I am learning to write a Poem about Peace One Day using my senses.

I am so proud of being able to make my work more colourful and vivid.

It can be tricky to describe the senses.

The thesaurus can help me by giving me interesting words to use.

The next step for me in my learning is to write a more interesting poem.

The Worst Thing Ever.

The Worst Thing Ever.

It was 2:30 am on the 25th of April 1915.We were under the cover of darkness.

I was petrified. I had not just butterflies in my stomach

I also was sweating like an endless waterfall.

I was crammed in the landing boat.

It was dead silent. I was very nervous.  I didn’t know if I was going to live or not.

I saw a big light coming from behind me.

It lit up like every where. I could now see everything around me.I heard a bullet going straight beside my ear. Lots of soldiers were dying all around me. Killed by the constant bullets being shot at us. Soldiers were falling out of the boat and sinking fast like the Titanic.

I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder. I thought I was about to die. It was the the worst thing ever….

I am so proud of being able to finish the problem and get the correct answer.

It can be tricky to divide by 10.

My buddy can help me by checking my work to see if it is wrong or right.

The next step for me in my learning is to do a Stage 7 question by myself.

Think about an activity that you do, or a sporting activity you belong to and make a list of the rules that members need to follow.  For each rule, briefly explain why this rule has been put in place.

Rugby Union

The Rule is …..	Why this rule has been put in place…..
No Sharp Boots.	The reason is because it might cut peoples arms and legs.
No High Tackles.	The reason is because if you high tackle you could break their neck.
No Forward passes.	Because if you forward pass you will get penalised and because that is unfair for the opponents and that is only allowed on football (National FootBall League).
No Kicking Or Punching.	There is no kicking or punching because it turns into a fight.
No Foot Trips	Because you can really hurt the peoples feet.
No Shepherding	You are not allowed to shepherd because they could accidentally tackle the wrong person.
